What is Allegro Framework?

The Allegro Framework is a universal web platform developed by our company. It is at the core of all our web projects based on cloud computing. The framework provides each solution with a unified environment with numerous features and utilities for application management. It facilitates efficient development of new modules and simplifies their mutual interconnection.

What is cloud computing?

The term cloud computing refers to the provision of services or programs stored on Internet servers. Users can access them via a web browser and, therefore, use them practically anywhere. Access to a shared application and data repository is provided but unlike in the traditional concept, these resources are not administered by users locally but, rather, by the service provider "somewhere in the cloud".

What is Allegro Business Solution?

It is a member of the product family based on the Allegro Framework platform. It is an economic information system for small and medium-sized enterprises and accounting companies.

How does Allegro actually work?

Allegro is an online system running on the Internet just like any other web application. Programs don’t need to be installed: they are shared through our servers, and in order to use them you only need a web browser, Internet connection, and a user account for access.

Which web browsers are supported?

The system is optimized for the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer and Opera with JavaScript support turned on.

Can we run Allegro on our own server?

Yes, we can install the system into your local computer network upon request. The terms and conditions for such a solution are always negotiated individually.

What is the recommended configuration of own server?

Minimum (for small systems):
CPU: Intel Core i5 (desktop), Intel Xeon E3 (server)
RAM: 8 GB
SQL: MS SQL Server 2012 Express and later versions
OS: Win Server 2008 and later versions
Disk: applications 300MB, data as necessary

Recommended:
CPU: Intel Core i5 (desktop), Intel Xeon E3 (server)
RAM: 8GB system + applications, 16GB sql server, 32GB when running on a single server
SQL: MS SQL Server 2012 Standard and later versions
OS: Win Server 2008 and later versions
Disk: applications 300MB, data as necessary

Which computer can I access Allegro from?

You can log into your system from any computer connected to the Internet.

Is there a trial version?

Create a demo account and receive one-month access to the trial area of the Allegro Business Solution system. The registration is free.

Can Allegro be extended with specific features?

Yes, our customers with an Advanced or Business license are eligible for custom modifications and extensions according to their needs. The actual implementation is always based on a previous analysis, and the cost of modification is calculated with regard to the technical difficulty and the time needed.

Can I create another account for another company or a branch?

The system allows administering an unlimited number of companies with a single user account. A dedicated area with separate data is allocated for each company, and you can switch between their records easily or open them in separate tabs. The license is determined individually according to the customers’ specific needs.

Does Allegro support multiple languages?

Yes, the system provides a localized user interface, and multiple languages are supported on the data level as well. Therefore, not only the menu and forms are displayed in the selected language but the data is localized accordingly. The number of languages is not limited, supporting a new language is just a matter of translation. On the technical level, adding a language is a single-click operation.

What modules are in preparation?

We continue developing Allegro to keep the system in line with our customers’ needs. We’re currently finishing a module for asset registration, and the Production module is constantly extended.

Is the communication with the system secure?

The communication takes place via a secure HTTPS protocol, just like in online banking for example.

Is there a risk that some other user will see my accounting records?

No system is 100% secure but measures can be taken to protect your data and adopt trusted security standards employed, for instance, in online banking. This is what we have done in Allegro, and we believe that the system is protected against misuse to the maximum extent.

Where are the servers located and how are they protected?

The servers are located in Dial Telecom’s data centres, and information about their security can be found here.

Is the data backed up regularly?

Yes, the system is backed up daily by Dial Telecom’s data centre, and copies for the last seven days are always retained. If Allegro is installed in a local network, data backup is the customer’s responsibility.

Jaro nám starosti nedělá... nic zásadního se totiž neděje. Tedy, ne že bychom se váleli, ale březen začal volným tempem prací pro některé naše zákazníky, kterým jsme se snažili udělat pomyšlení. Většinu času jsme tak strávili přípravou vylepšení, které nemusí být nutně přínosem pro všechny naše uživatele, ale potěší ty, kteří potřebovali něco speciálního. I přesto nám ale zbylo trochu času na implementaci funkcí obecné povahy.

Za zmínku stojí například hromadné uzavírání obchodních dokladů bez dodacích listů, poněkud anachronická podpora dávkového zasílání dokladů poštou nebo možnost aktualizace údajů o zákazníkovi při importu faktur z e-shopu. Modul EET jsme rozšířili o stornovací službu, prodej přímo ze skladu získal mnohem intuitivnější ovládání a přátelštější uživatelské rozhraní, přibyl soupis DPH dle měny s XML exportem a kontrolní výkaz DPH pro Slovensko.

Dále jsme zapracovali na rozšíření portfolia bank, se kterými se umí Allegro "domluvit". Nyní již zvládáme formáty ABO, GEMINI, BEST a MUTLICASH, pomocí kterých dokážeme komunikovat mimo jiné s Raiffeisenbank, Citibank, Českou spořitelnou nebo bankami Fio, KB, Unicredit či ruskou Sberbank. České příkazy k úhradě do zahraničí nyní exportujeme jako SEPA platby.

Poněvadž se na nás stále více obracejí podnikatelé, kterým již nestačí jednodušší ekonomické systémy, zdokonalili jsme také modul pro import dat z programu Pohoda. Dává nám to docela zabrat, poněvadž benevolence této účetní evidence k zadávaným údajům produkuje mnohdy velmi nekonsistentní datové soubory a srovnat vše do latě vyžaduje tu a tam značného úsilí. Nicméně prozatím se nám to daří a na migraci této agendy do Allegra jsme připraveni.

Nakonec jsme ještě stihli zdokonalit schvalovací proces pro knihu došlých faktur a rozšířit podporu e-fff, což je implementace elektronické fakturace založená na Evropském standardu UBL 2.0 (Universal Business Language).

A abychom nezapomněli... důstojná oslava narozenin "březňáků" proběhla v půli měsíce. Během jednoho večera a části noci jsme stihli vyřešit všechny palčivé světové problémy, vymyslet, naprogramovat a rovnou prodat naprosto geniální Allegro verzi 10 a ještě naplánovat svatby dosud nezadaných kolegů.

No... vlastně zase tak málo se toho neudálo, že ;-) ?
